St. Richard’s Primary School have been reflecting on what it means to belong to a Church Community and plan ways to follow in Jesus’ footsteps by helping others in need.

So the Year 3 – 6 students have teamed together to collect donations for St. Vincent de Paul’s Winter Appeal.

Year 5/6 students have created posters which you will soon see around the school and the Year 3/4 students have created advertisements  to try and persuade you to make a difference this Winter.

We will place tubs in both the Yellow and Blue Buildings at St. Richard’s Primary School for your kind donations.

Preps led the Palm Sunday Assembly and did a fantastic job.

A well deserved treat after Mass.

What an amazing effort from all concerned raising just over $300 at our Cake Stall. A huge thank you to all the bakers.

We just avoided the rain on Thursday when we walked to Woolworths. We had a great tour of the store and then used our Cake Stall money to buy special items for St. Vinnies. It was wonderful to witness the children getting so involved to support this cause.

Look what our shoppers bought to donate to St. Vinnie’s. Well done. Super effort.

What a busy day. We wore our crazy socks to raise money for Catholic Mission.

The Preps also had their Learning Presentation. We talked about their favourite learnings,  our Late Stay and Growth Mindset.

We have been learning about Growth Mindset and this clip helps us with our positive language.

We have been looking at Creation stories. We compared the Bible story with the Aboriginal stories of Creation. This is a message from the Pope about how we can look after what God has created.
