Tricky work in Maths.

There is now a quick link to Sunshine On Line for Literacy and Mathematics activities. Go to the Learning Links tab at the top of the Blog. Click on Sunshine On Line.  There are great leveled books and activities. There are great mathematics activities.  Sometimes it asks you for a password and username, sometimes not. If it does-

Fun with numbers.

In Maths we are learning about shapes. We found lots of shapes in the playground.

We are also counting as far as we can.

We are learning to count to 20 and beyond.

We are also learning about shapes and their attributes.

Partner and group games are a great way to learn Maths skills.

How exciting for our Preps to be chosen to show off their Mathematical skills. We had a lesson with Professor Peter Sullivan witnessed by twelve Prep teachers from surrounding schools. Our Preps did an amazing job.

In Maths we have been looking at Data Representation. We graphed Smarties and then interpreted the data.

We are learning the days of the week in Maths.  We are looking at the words today, yesterday and tomorrow.  Check this clip out.
