Prep GM Blog Learning together at St Richard's Primary School 

Thanks Mrs. Elvin for a great hockey clinic.

In Mathematics we have been very busy.  We have looked at repeated patterns.

We have been learning about shapes, 2D and 3D.  We looked for shapes in the playground.

We love this clip about shapes.

We have been making numbers and counting.

The Preps have been put into their colour groups for sport and social group activities.  Last Tuesday the groups got together for team building and getting to know you activities.   Here are a couple of snippets from Green group.

We have been learning the sounds that letters make.  This clip helps us remember the sounds.

We have also been learning ‘High Frequency’ words to help us with our reading and writing.  As we learn new words we can fill in a colour on our rainbow.  Congratulations to Alicia for getting to the end of the rainbow.

It is hard to believe we are heading into Week 5.  Here are a couple of highlights from our first few weeks at school.
